I’m digging 7 football picks this week, that is if you count going against the Washington schools – a couple goodies, Minnesota, Iowa, and Oregon to name a few.

Week 7’s NCAA College Football Picks vLog

For Week 7 I have 4 games, 3 huge ones amongst top ranked teams. I’m taking LSU, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma during a week of huge match-ups in College Football. Throwing in an easy win in a lesser match-up I like the Wildcats of Arizona to dominate Stanford.

Boston College vs Virginia Tech

By Scott Burgess
Game: Thurs, Oct 25, 2007 7:30 PM ET

The No.9 Virginia Tech Hokies (-3) will host the No.2 Boston College Eagles (+3) at Lane Stadium.

No.2 Boston College is off to a perfect (7-0, 3-0) season so far after an impressive win over Notre Dame, 27-14. QB Matt Ryan is getting serious mention as Heisman Trophy Candidate with a record of 21-4 as a starter. Ryan has completed 63% of his passes for 2,148 YDS with 17 TDs and 6 INT. When Ryan met V.T. last year he threw 2 TDs with no interceptions for a 22-3 win. The Eagles defense are getting interceptions from safety Jamie Silva (5) and DeJuan Tribble (4). Silva currently leads the ACC in INTs. Their defense is tops in stopping the rush, they’re allowing only 47 yards a game.

No.9 Virginia Tech are (7-1, 4-0) after jumping up three spots in the BCS. Virginia’s defense has been dominant all year allowing a total of 112 points in eight games. The Hokies recently beat Duke 43-14 after giving up only 194 total yards. Their offense seems to be picking up the pace, scoring more than 40 points in two games and amassing 445 yards . Freshman QB Tyrod Taylor might be out with an ankle injury, but not to worry last years starter Sean Glennon is up for the challenge.
